Notes: | Label source: Identified by Prof Guibourt as his Tacamaque jaune huileuse B., described in his Hist. des Drog. Tome 3. p. 484 Ed. 1850. Resin offered as 'Gum Elemi' at the sale of the stock of Hancock & Co. wholesale Druggists, Earl Street Finsbury, 7 ms, 16.1850. Some of this resin was offered at public sale 12th Feb 1852 by Ellis and Hale. It was among several lots of Copal and included under that name in the catalogue but the man in the sale room called it Elemi. Cadiz was given as the place whence imp, orted. I have a sample of it.
