Notes: | Label source: Aniseed Buchu. Under this name a bag of leaves weighing 12lbs was included in the last drug auction. They appear from examination to be the leaves of Agathosma villosa (Rutaceae) & are not known to be of any economic value. Agathosma virgat, a, a native of mountain slopes in Cape Colony , is used in the treatment of pulmonary complaints, & is known as Bok Buchu. JMST in Chemist & Druggist 8.2.08.p.240. |
