Notes: Label source: Balsam obtained from a species of Commiphora and fruits of the tree growing in the Hedjaz mountains. The balsam is used for curing cuts and bruises. It is also taken internally, and is said to be purgative. It is greatly esteemed by the, Bedouins. It is also taken internally in roses of 1 or 2 drops in a cup of coffee (as purgative) Tree growing in the Hedjaz Mountains. It produces a resin which is extracted by puncture (specimen sent in bottle). Leaves and wood are very aromatic. Thi, s tree will remain for years leafless if deprived of water.
