Notes: Label source: Herb. Hort. Bot. Reg. Kew. Tree, nuts much esteemed by natives. See dried specimens in Herbarium. Label source: Keeper, Herbarium; Museums; these samples of gum from a Canarium from the Solomon Islands may be of interest to the museums. We, have ample herbarium material here of this and other gatherings. The species was described a few years ago by Mr Burtt and seems a quite distinct one. V.S.S. 5.X.1942.
