| Notes: | Label source: 12b Z.vulgaris, preserved fruits. A sample of 'Tang tsan tsao' or sugar coated jujubes as sold in Tsinanfu, Shantung. To prepare this confectionary large jujube fruits are steamed, then sliced lengthwise in strips, leaving the seed out and, these strips are dipped in a preparation of sugar and flour. They are served as sweetmeats at teas and with meals. | ||||
