Notes: Opuscular source: Note from Rowina Gale to Rosemary Angel (Returned to case 11/12/1979). Sorry about the delay in replying. It has caused great problems in the identification. It definitely matches the characters of the family Sapindaceae, but none of, our slides in the collection of this group. I have made further slides of the woods in the museum from South America that were not represented in the Jodrell - still to no avail. I checked the flora of the area and found nothing likely - and no mention, of Palo de Rosario. It seems as if we take it no further than the family.
