Notes: | Label source: Letter 303, 1919 : xiii p.62 Note dated August 26th 1919 - the secretary, Inc Oil Seed Assoc inform him with reference to the sample of fruit from Rhodesia, left at the Museum on the 22nd inst. appears to be that of Anaphrenium abyssinicum(, synonym, Rhus insignis); but he regrets it has not been found possible to trace any information as to the economic uses. Letter 296, 1919 : xiii p.60 dated August 26th 1919 - Messrs Simson Bros & Co Ltd. inform them in reference to their two letters of th, e 11th and 19th inst. that the sample of fruit submitted for identification appears to be that of Anaphrenium abyssinicum; but he regrets it has not been found possible to find any information as to the nature and uses of the oil they are said to contain, nor of any other use to which they may be put.
