| Notes: | Label source: Copy of letter, dated Nov 9th 1923, Dear Prof Greenish, I have received from Zanzibar a small case of roots sent as Cassia beareana. Mr Boodle has compared a piece with a specimen of the root of this species which you kindly sent to the Mus, eum a short time ago and they are believed to be the same. I am sending part of the consignment to you for your museum and for examination. May I ask if you would be so good as to furnish me with a report as to the medicinal value of the roots.
