Examined by Mr Boodle suggested Dalbergieae Letter 175 dated April 30 1918, the Director Imperial Inst acknowledges the receipt of his letter of the 18th instant and in reply to say that t, he sample of aromatic bark (No. 1716/18) from Ecuador has been compared with several barks in the Museum, but it has not been found possible to identify it. The structure is similar in some respects to that of the bark of Piscidia erythrina Linn.; the sug, gestion is therefore made that the bark may belong to one of the Dalbergieae. |
