Notes: | Opuscular source: Sample of Kaffir tea, Henry P Stevens, Laboratories, 15 Borough High Street, London Bridge, SE1. Sample consists of leaves and twigs of a leguminous plant either Borbonia pinifolia or a species of Aspalathus. Borbonia is the plant fro, m which Rooibos tea is obtained. Asphalathus tenuifolia DC is also used for tea in S Africa. The leaves being very similar to Rooibos but black when prepared for use. LaB 10.6.27 |
