Notes: | Label source: Extract from letter from Mr A Harvey dated 196 Bermondsey Street, London EC 1 16.x.22 'Bark known as Ranawara bark said to abound in Ceylon. This bark I find to have the following compositions:- Tannin 16.2%, soluble non tannins 9.6%, Inso, luble matter 61.3%, Moisture 12.9%. It is very dark in colour and the tannins present I find to be of the catechol class. |
