Notes: | Label source: Brown bean. Average full grown tree ht 50`, straight branches, trunk 20` to 25`, then spreading up and out, diameter of trunk 24' to 30'. Commonly called Acacia trees out there. Timber is white and tough, attacked by white ants in sap woo, d, but rarely in heart wood which is darker in colour. The spring colouring of the tree is exquisite. See letter 79, 1907. |
