I think it is more common on the Isthmus than E timbouva but I have not seen it as large though it is a lofty tree. E timbouva is quite common in Central America. The native wh, o brought me these pods called them Canini and said the tree produced Anita de Canini?, but I have learned by experience that they call by the same name very dissimilar things.
