Notes:
Label source: Mulga is a dense, hard Australian wood, without ray bar or vessel line markings. The attractive combination of cream-coloured sapwood and coffee brown heartwood lends itself well to ornamental uses, such as the manufacture of inkstands, ser, viette rings, trinket boxes and other fancy woodware. Ability to take a high polish further enhances its value for these purposes. It is used by the aborigines for making boomerangs and weapons and also makes durable fenceposts.
