Notes: | Label source: Letter from James F Couch, American Institute of Chemists, Washington D.C.Chapter, March 10 1925. To G.R.A. Short, Curator, Museum Dept, The Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, 17 Bloomsbury Sq. London, Dear Sir, In response to your, letter of Feb. 11th I am sending, under separate cover, a sample of the pods and seed of Lupinus spathulatus (Rydb.) This sample is from a lot that was collected near the Gooseberry Ranger Station, east of Salina, Utah, about July 30th 1920. The pods have, shrunken greatly during drying and have become so friable that it is difficult to pick out a representative sample. This will account for the fact that I have not sent a larger quantity. I trust that these will reach you safely and in good condition. You, rs very truely. |
