| Notes: | Label source: Basket was purchased from Botswana Craft, Gaborone (cost 20.09 pula). They are traditional baskets now being made for the tourist trade. Similar baskets were seen by the collector being sold from a village Zankuyo and Sherobe near to Maunw, here they are made. Basket determined by Tony Cunningham June 1996. These baskets he feels are actually not traditional designs as the literature suggests, but were designed for tourists and simply marketed as traditional. | ||||
