Notes: | Label source: 2 samples 374 a, and 374 b supposed to be apricot kernels. 2 memos from EM Holmes to JM Hillier, Curator Kew. Nov 3rd 1925. 1. Dear Mr Hillier, Can you tell me whether the enclosed are plum or apricot kernels. (Note from JHH - 2 saples rec, eived - one marked 374a. Small seeds supposed not to be apricot. Probably Prunus sp, but not P americana and the other 374b Probably peach P. persica. (8.xii.25) Memo no 2. just asks for more information on two types. |
