(No. 2918/18) and in reply to say that the two samples (No. 4386/18) of 'bitter' and 'sweet' Apricot, kernels appear to be correct as those of 'Apricot' (Prunus armeniaca). An opinion, however, cannot be given as to whether the samples represent what are known as the bitter and sweet kinds, there being no specimens, thus named available for comparison.
