Notes: | Label source: The student should observe the predominating asymmetrical, lanceolate or ovate lanceolate shape, the veins distinct on the under surface and both surfaces more or less distinctly pubescent and should compare the leaves with C.obovata, which, are obovate, Indian senna leaves, which are yellowish green in colour, less conspicuously asymmetrical and less pubescent and argel leaves which are equal at the base thick in texture and in which the veins are not distinct. Also Cassia obovata leaves an, d fruit, Solenostemma argel leaves, Cassia brevipes leaves and fruit, Cassia angustifolia Tinnevelly senna leaves and fruit and Cassia holosericea Aden Senna leaves and fruit.
