Gum Ivy (so called) from the stock of Powell, Apothecary, Chelsea - taken out of a Delft pot having the initials 'J.P.' and the date 1679 burnt in under the glaze. Also small pot collected at, Congenies by Christophe Majolier who gave it to me v.1854 - gum exuded from ivy after incision |
