Notes: | Label source: Eucalyptol C12 H20 O. (vapour density 6.22) (Bosistos). From Eucalyptus globulus. This volatile body is a homologue of Camphor, and appears to be two steps higher in the series. Its vapour, mixed with air, is fresh, agreeable when inhaled,, and is employed as a therapeutical agent in bronchial and diptheritic aflictions. Quantity employed from half to one teaspoonful, with half a pint of hot water in the inhaler. |
