Notes: | Label source: A small plant common in cultivated ground. It is erect about one foot high, dichotomous, glabrous ; stem acutely four-angled ; leaves linear lanceolate ; pedicels one flowered, axillary ; capsule nearly round, opening at the apex ; root sma, ll and fibrous. The plant turns black when dry. It is kept in the druggist shops in Goa, and is in use there as an alterative in low forms of fever. It is administered in combination with Adiantum lunulatum and Hydrocotyle asiatica. I have never seen it i, n the Bombay shops. | ||||
