Quinine 1.07 other Alkaloids 0.36 Total 1.43 No 55 Quina con hojas de Lucumae la espece No 10 - the acras lucumae (from resembla, nce to which in the leaves this species is named) is figured in Flora Peruv Vol 3 Pl. 239. My specimen of this from the Herb of Pavon is marked 'Cas con hojas de Lucuma No. 561 & c Loxa' There are two species of bark in the museum the first has fine large, quills resembling the specimen of the Pharm Soc, but with a redder substance. Pereira 'White large quills' second sp., yet more resembling the above being paler of brown colour. |
