Notes: | Label source: M.335.32 28 April 1932 - Cinchona bark marked DFC 1/2 8 to 4/53 and sealed 'Harrison & Self' ; one of the clients had sold this as 'Huannco bark' and it had been rejected by the buyers as being from other species of Cinchona. Harrison & Sel, f - Letter M.325.32 29.iv.32 Cinchona bark DFC 1/2, 8 & 4/53 Sulana Mr Holland - The 'Huannco bark' is clearly from a species of Cinchona. It is probably not the same species as the Huannco bark recently received from Schrempft and Co., but more strongl, y resembles C.micrantha judging from the Museum material. It is also similar to C.calesaya but is absolutely distinct from Rumija bark CRM 3.5.32 |
