Notes: | Label source: 1) Bark received in the London Market as Quinine bark from Bogota. Nearly identical with the White Bark of Mutis. Opuscular source: Note from Jenkin & Phillips, Brokers, Mincing Lane EC, 06/09/1900. Dear Sir, The enclosed sample of bark ha, s just arrived from Bogota, South America and is represented to us as being a quinine bark with about 5% quinine in. It does not resemble in appearance what we used to see - your opinion will be very much appreciated by Dr Raul and Mr Cripps.
