Notes: | Label source: Arizona tea, Bidens sp. Imported into London Feb. 1895. Said to give a strong coloured infusion with the odour of tea but a disagreeable taste. Label source: A portion of this sample was forwarded to G. Browne Goode Esq., Smithsonian Insti, tute, Washington asking for information 7.2.95 & who states in a letter to Director dated Washington 14.3.95 'that the specimen belongs to the genus Thelesperma, rather than to Bidens and that it is in all probability T. gracile. I regret that we are unab, le to supply you with any information as to its use '. |
