Notes: | Label source: Sir Daniel Morris. 'In reply to your letter of Sept. 3 I have pleasure in sending some few scraps of specimens that I have been able to obtain of the so called sugar plant of Paraguay. The name sugar plant was adopted as a free translation, of the native name Azuca-caa but it was clearly understood that the sweetness was not due to the presence of a large amount of either cane or grape sugar' (Extr. Sir D Morris to Director Kew, Barbados Oct. 4 1905) J.H.H. 15 Jan 1907. Eupatorium rebaudian, um from HSM Consul at Ascunera Paraguay to Sir D Morris Barbados. See Kew Bulletin 1901. p.173. | ||||
