Notes: | Label source: Grown at Great Harpenden 1928 Letter M.106/1930 Mr Sandwith's report H.214-30 Mus 1116-30 - Report on sample of so called Pyrethrum from Chili - sent by Mr FC Fryer Min of Agric. Ratt (?) Lab Harpenden with sample of true C.cinerariaefolium, grown at Harpenden for comparison : 'Without further material I should say both sets of heads belong to C.cinerariaefolium. This is presumably cultivated in Chili, though it is not mentioned by Reiche Fl.Chili sd. N.Y.S. (3.ii.30) JHH. Test tube of 'Pyre, thrum' from Shell Msc Letter M106.1930 and 114.1930 |
