Letter 160. 1924, xvi, p 2) In reply unable to state where the species submitted were actually grown or whether or not they were cultivated or wild. The only definite info we have is that the go, ods were shipped from an Egyptian port but don't know if in fact Egyptian grown. Genuine wormseed is solely grown in Turkestan (1924) Letter from Kew to Lyons; (30.5.1924) No. 5344 - It is impossible to say to what sp of Artemisia this belongs. It co, nsists of fragments of inflorescence ie broken flowers and flower buds. Semen contra 6120 - This is a mixture largely of fragments of conifer, probably a member of Cupressoideae but I regret I am unable to give further info as to it. |
