Notes: | Opuscular source: Letter from Research Laboratories of the Pharmaceutical Society of GB, 17 Bloomsbury Square London W.C.1 April 25. 1922. My Dear Holmes, I enclose a sample of A. brevifolia Wall. which contains Santonin. This is the second specimen. It, has been examined in India but I have not yet assayed it. It was sent direct from the Indian Forest Research Dept. We could not find any flowers on it. I have two others to examine said to contain Santonin and Miss Pearson who is doing the work but away n, ow, will examine all of them microscopically to see if there are any distinctive features but it will probably be some weeks before we can get at it. We should be glad to see you here when you are able to come. The Museum attendance books have all gone; t, he latter books are for ? was necessary on account of space. I cannot say exactly what was the last date kept. The lectures will be over about the end of June. Very glad to hear you are getting on so well, it has been a rotten time for you. Very Truely He, nry Greenish. |
