Notes: | Label source: Forms immense patches many feet in diameter on the mountains. A young mass, entire of my plant called Forstana ?. The usual size of the masses is 4 to 6 feet in diameter higher at the top than round the margins. 17 Jan 1845. In all masses o, f this plant a number of others are usually found each as a small sp. of ??? a plant like Plantago ? and several others, and it is surrounded by a ???? plant which I have not got in H.
