Notes: | Label source: Imported into Liverpool from the River Niger as Shea Butter seeds. A further sample of these seeds was received from Messrs Latham & Son 6.4.93. with a note to the effect that they contain 40 % of oil & 8% of water. The oil is a hard oil an, d of about the same consistence as palm kernel very white and bright looking.
