Notes: | Label source: 'Obunga' species of apron consisting of one to six leaves of Mimusops littoralis (Andaman do gota) which are fastened to the lowest bod ? (waistbelt see no. 25) by women from motiros of modest; the leaves are not spread out so as to cover a, wide surface, but are laid one above the other and removed separately as each becomes stiff & shrivelled the reason given for the selection of this particular leaf is that it keeps green for a longer time than any other.
