Notes: | Label source: E Collectione JB Batka Pragae - Paratudo, ?? Canellae, Canella axillaris Mart & Nees. I have some doubt to believe this bitter bark to be the produce of such an aromatic plant as Canella. These specimens are not barks of Canella, but exhibi, t the structural characteristics of a species of Aspidosperma. GRA Short Jan 1926.
