The leaf of Butea frondosa has an entirely different type of mesophyll, and the ..?.. are of quite a different type. (3) Both (1) and (2) about agro microscopically units ? the leaf of Diospyros tomentosum from the Museum, . The leaf exhibits a distinctive type of unicellular 2-armed hair of which the arms may be equal or unequal in length. This type of hair is characteristic of numerous species of Diospyros.
