Notes: | Label source: Root sent under names of 'Gangamau' and of Curcuma longa, as being used in yellow dye for skins in Nigeria This is not Curcuma longa. It probably belongs to the Asclepiadaceae or Apocynaceae or Euphorbiaceae, and may perhaps be a Pergularia, , a species of this genus being mentioned as supplying a constituent of the Nigerian dye.
