Notes: | Label source: Large white stone, Small shrub 18 inches to 2 feet, throwing out a number of small straight branches from ground level. The plant is apparently allied to the MBONGO, which I take to be a cless of Landolphia, as it has a vine like habit; bot, h plants secrete a white latex which turns into a class of India rubber. The fruit of the enclosed veriety is edible, of the size and of the colour of a tangerine orange. Habitat - sandbelts of Barotzeland - ?? Cockerell, see letter 79.1907 | ||||
