| Notes: | Label source: Letter from HO Meek to Mr Wallis - You will be ....?.... in the enclosed sample of 'Bull Root'. There is 8 cwt of this, one bag ...?... entirely Belladonna. The other consists chiefly of Phytalacca (?) root. I have sent you a .../... sam, ple of the bull and also of the powder from this. The total alkaloid is 0.3% which seems to indicate that Phytolacca has some base yielded to the Bell Avery (?) method. We ..?.. go further into this process. (Rest difficult to read) | ||||
