Notes: | Label source: Rochow - District Surgeon Leddie. Barmagil hout or ipecactanhabosch. Grows plentifully in Peddie district. Very much used with certain results against snake bites. Supposed to be the substantial principle in Crosts tincture. Containsa, great quantity of Ipecacuanha. The tea made therefrom is used as a general tonic and against chest affections. The alcoholic extract of leaves gives a splendid linament used for rheumatism. | ||||
