Notes: | Label source: The use of this plant as a vermifuge, for which purpose it is given in the United States, appears to be unknown in Chile, where it is employed as a stimulant to digestion, and as an emmenagogue. In cholera epidemics it is also extensively u, sed instead of mint. Dr Murillo remarks that he knows of no better carminative remedy in the treatment of the diseases of infancy. |
