There are a few cracked specimens, which when split show the presence of a species of, Eurobium, as in the previous sample - a mould common on all kinds of vegetable substances under damp conditions. The nutmegs are certainly not of first quality, but the proportion of moulded ones seems hardly sufficient to condemn them as quite unsaleab, le. EMW 8.7.1923 |
