Notes: | Label source: Sample of bark described as Coto Legitimo. Haw & Co 11 Old Hall Street, Liverpool. M713-28 The sample of bark has been compared with specimens in the Kew Museum, one of Coto and the other of Paracoto bark. The opinion derived from this comp, arison is that the bark is probably not genuine coto. It is suggested that a sample should be sent to Pharmaceutical Society (17 Bloomsbury Square, London W C 1) where coto bark and its substitutes may be better represented than at Kew L.A.B. 20.11.28.Le, tter to Haw & Co accordingy 21.xi.28 Letter 23.11.28 acknowledging RBG Kew letter |
