Notes: | Label source: Under this name the fruit of cinnamon is sold. I am informed that it is that of C loureiri, but I have not seen the tree. kala (Black) nagkesur consists of a small brown mucronate berry, the size of a grain of millet, enclosed in a six pa, rtite calyx half an inch long, and articulated to a slender pedicel; the calyx and pedicel are of the dark brown colour of the clove, and have s strong cinnamon odour and taste. The properties of the drug would appear to be the same as those of cinnamon., Dymock, Pharm Journ. |
