Notes: Label source: The fresh seeds often contain the larvae of a moth Carpocapsa saltitans, which cause the jumping movement. Found also in the seeds of S. bilocularis. The insect however in this sp. is probably Grapholitha sebastianiae. See Insect Life iiipp, . 431-32. When recent they jump or move spontaneously. The moths and chrysalids are also shown.
