Notes: | Label source: A light to deep red coloured, soft open-grained timber, light in weight and easy to work. It is a most valuable cabinet, joinery and decorative wood, exceedingly durable when exposed to the weather. It is used also for boat-building and pat, tern-making. Owing to the great demand in the past it is now scarce. Supplies to the Sydney Market come mostly from Northern Queensland A large tree, found in the coastal districts of New South Wales, Queensland and Pacific Islands.
