Tower St London 6th Nov 1913 to Director (See letter 569, 1913, viii.p.196 'I send you two packets one containing a botanical sample of a herbaceous plant indigenous here which seems a Euphorbia and from its bifu, rcated branches should be called dichotoma. It contains good rubber latex and I believe in greater quanity than Guayule (Parthenium argentatum) It is easily cultivated. Please show it to the Kew authorities for identification or new classification.' |
