| Notes: | Label source: Sample of fibre grown in the Zoutpansberg district of the Transvaal (6.6.10) I have compared the sample with a specimen of the fibre of Asclepias physocarpa. It does not appear to be the same as this, nor do I think it likely to be one of, the Asclepiadaceae, Moraceae is perhaps more probable L.A.B. 22.i.12. Chewed by native to make pliable and plaited.
