| Notes: | Flora of Malaya, from FRI Kepong, Selangor FRI 29186. Akar lepang, 14 mile Genting - Simpah Road. Climber, height 60', girth 3'. Stem crooked and crling smooth, brownish. Young stem flattened. The axillary bud develops like a flattened coiled spring, and when it comes into contact the terminal pairs enlarges and grips strongly on the contact. Cut stem coppices. | ||||
