Notes: | Label source: Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Memo to Keeper Museums, Dated 16.2.1966: According to a note in the Herbarium the fruits of the type Haematocarpus thomsonii Miers should be in the museum preserved in spirit. The collection was made by Hooker and, Thomson in the Khasia Hills and was originally labelled 'Fibraurea', Haematocarpa Hk.f. & T.T. It would be most useful if these fruits could be transferred to the Herbarium, especially as we have no fruits of the species over here. Sgd. L.L.Forman Specim, en transferred to Herbarium 17.2.1966 Pre 1810. |
