Notes: | Label source: Baruta. Grounds of Universidad Simon Bolivar. Hills above the campus. Tree 8m tall with forked trunk, to 10 ccm DBH. Branches appearing 4-5m above ground. Bark fairly smooth light tan, greenish within, wood light buff. Branches +/- sto, ried, long, spreading-pendulous, branched toward tips. Leaves sub coriaceous, medium dark green above, somethat shiny, with accurately ascending lamina, margin scarcely undulate, costa light yellow, major nerves, light greenish, viens distinct; light gree, n beneath subnitid, with darker green nerves and veinlets, costa light tan to yellowish; no areolae or linea present. Fruits present in leaf axils near tips of branchlets. Pedicel and calyx dull dark green. Fruits light green turning red, elliptic to, ovoid to subshperical. |
